They are considered as selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4 showing no anticholinergic effects. These tablets are known to show excellent bioavailability of about 90% with protein binding ability of up to 98%. Belong to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug class, Drotaverine And Mefenamic Acid Tablets are also admired for having ability to inhibit COX activity resulting in suppression of prostaglandin action. They get metabolized in liver by CYP2C9 and excreted in urine, feces, & bile.
